Senior Mechanical Engineer for medical device development

You will participate in the specification of devices and make well-founded decisions about design solutions, components, parts and materials to ensure safety and effectiveness of the mechanical design.

Major parts of your job as a senior mechanical engineer are analysis, simulation, detail design descriptions, implementation, estimation, documentation, planning and coordination, all based on Phillips Medisize’s Mechanical Design Life-cycle Processes

If you are experienced with kinematics, tolerance analysis, mathematical modelling, FEM/FEA, ProE/Creo, DFA/DFM, GPS, it is perfect. 

 

What we are looking for in you: 

Professional qualifications

Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualifications.

 

Personal qualifications

You are an analytical and theoretical solid senior Mechanical engineer. You are proactive, result oriented and a self-motivated team player with a holistic mindset. You have an interest in mechanical mechanisms, development and human centered design.  You thrive by solving complex problems using kinematics, dynamics, mechatronics and other engineering skills. It is essential that you understand the importance of maintaining a high level of quality and documentation.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
