Label & Artist Relations Manager for a music streaming service in Copenhagen 

Moodagent is all about creating a new standard for music streaming. We are looking for a Label & Artist Relations Manager with +7 years of relevant experience to join the Danish team at our global headquarters in Copenhagen.

As our Label & Artist Relations Manager you have a genuine passion for music, great knowledge of the music industry and incredible networking skills. Most likely you have an existing network within the music industry.

With reference to the Head of PR & Communications, you are our link to the music industry in Denmark. You form and manage day-to-day relationships with music label partners and artists managements, and act as the primary point of contact for them while providing a key perspective internally.

You are responsible for all coordination between Moodagent Denmark and music labels on a regular basis, and you handle the administrative label and artist tasks that relate to our activities in Denmark. Including contract, approval and reporting procedures.

You know how to continuously build, develop and execute a strategy that tightens our bond with key players in the music industry while thriving as a team member in a company in rapid development, and you have a flair for cross-departmental collaboration.

And, last but not least, you must be a fun, friendly and helpful colleague. At Moodagent we laugh a lot, work hard, and always help each other out. We are busy, and we know that we can only succeed if everyone is running in the same direction and has each others’ backs.

Responsibilities:

  • Form and daily maintain a strong bond with labels and other key music industry partners in Denmark
  • Identify and create new label and content partner opportunities
  • Day-to-day communication and regular meetings with labels, artists, managements and promoters
  • Handle administrative tasks and maintain project deadlines in connection with marketing content productions such as live sessions, interviews, podcasts etc.
  • Create an overview of new music releases – and share it with relevant internal departments
  • Handle artist care at events a.o.
  • Report development and performance to both internal departments and label partners
  • Work closely with the Danish Moodagent team and global stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience from the music or entertainment industry. Maybe from product, marketing or PR positions
  • Strong personal network with labels, artists, managements, promoters is an advantage
  • Understanding of music streaming, marketing, social media and content production
  • Excellent networking, project management and communication skills
  • Strong passion for music and an urge to discover more great tracks and artists, spanning across genres and decades
  • Ambition and creativity, with an eye for music trends
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Understanding of contract procedures
  • Ability to work with global procedures
  • Danish and English (fluently written and read)
  • Steadfast interest in equality and diversity across culture and art
