UX Designers for new music streaming service
Are you our new colleague who will help us shape the experience of a music streaming service of the future? Then come join the creative forces at Moodagent in the Product & Design Department. Right now we are looking for two Designers whose personalities fit in our culture and skillset complement our competencies.
The Design Team consists of a mix of 7 dedicated Designers and User Researchers based in Copenhagen - an international group of people with different professional backgrounds and interests. We share a passion for designing great products and cherish the way we interact and get along.
We're on a roll and need some help expanding the overall user experience across multiple platforms in a way that will make music lovers keep coming back for more. We work in an interdisciplinary and agile environment with an informal tone and with focus on involvement and co-responsibility. We are user oriented, iterating to improve and always working towards the next big change in order to push the user experience to new heights.
We are on the lookout for experienced UX Designers, who are comfortable juggling between multiple stages of the design process - think early concept workshops, concept maturing, stakeholder alignment, user flows, prototype testing, UI design collaboration, developer handover/review, etc.. Sounds like something you would love? Then you might just be the person we're looking for.
Some of the awesome stuff you'd be working on includes:
Design clean, appealing and coherent UX for Moodagent users on several platforms (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet, Voice..) - in line with our design standards and principles in close collaboration with your team
Be the glue between multiple stakeholders transforming business needs, technological potential and user needs into amazing UX that is realised in our frequent releases.
Help us be on top of design trends, methods, tools, strengthen the way we work and nurture our design community.
Drive UX initiatives e.g. plan and facilitate concept workshops to help focus teams on user needs, to explore UX potential and to align stakeholders.
Work closely with our backend and frontend leads to make design maturing and handover a natural and collaborative part of our development cycle.
We imagine you have some of the following qualifications:
You are able to manage UX initiatives from start to finish.
You are a team player with excellent collaboration skills. “Getting your colleagues shine” is a part of your DNA.
You are open minded, curious, supportive and always interested in hearing other people's perspectives.
You have a minimum 2 years' of proven UX experience in an agile environment.
You thrive in a company with a “start-up” mindset where things are not always defined beforehand.
You have experience with digital product design/SAAS (preferably utility and/or content heavy products) as well as small screen design.
You feel comfortable with rapid sketching and getting peers feedback as part of the process.
You understand and love UX and usability principles and you are willing to stand up for them.
You are able to always think of user testing as an important part of the UX Design cycle.
You are a skilled Figma user (or Sketch) and familiar with Flinto, or similar prototype tools. If we've missed your favorite tools, be sure to tell us about them!
