Social Media Marketing Manager for a new music streaming service.

For our office in New Delhi, we are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our India Marketing team in Moodagent India. The Social Media Marketing Manager will create concepts for social media channels in accordance with overall brand and marketing strategy - working closely together with director, designer, and comms manager. 

You are a social media expert, well-versed in the constant change of search algorithms and you will be responsible for update of the latest news in the social media landscape and making qualified recommendations about opportunities on new platforms.

You will assist creating social media assets for local markets - working together with comms manager and marketing designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• A general social media expert, well-versed in the constant change of search algorithms and on how to utilize them to our advantage. Up to date on the latest news in the social media landscape, are comfortable making qualified recommendations about opportunities on new platforms, dying formats and where to focus our efforts.
• Create concepts for social media channels in accordance with overall brand and marketing strategy - working together with director, designer and comms manager
• Responsible for executing and measuring daily posts on the global pages (social, web, blog, etc)
• Assist creating social media assets for local markets - working together with comms manager and marketing designer

QUALIFICATIONS

• 100% fluent English speaker. 
• Preferably a background in journalism
• A solid and documented experience in managing and driving several social media channels, where you’ve also created the content.
• Understanding both the importance of factual communication, gifs and emojis - but most importantly, you understand what content works and what doesn’t.
• Comfortable reporting performance and progress to ensure we’re on the right track and complying with our KPIs.
• An established name in the media industry is preferred
• Works independently, purposefully and disciplined
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish relations with the team and external parties in the same manner
• Collaborative, team-focused style of working
• Self-sufficient and a positive attitude, a natural problem solver
